In 2004, Malia Hill was dragged to a yoga class by a friend in Hawaii. She felt overworked, overweight, overstressed, and very disconnected from her body. Through yoga, she made changes to her life that she had always been afraid to make. She learned to deal with stress and challenge in healthier ways. Malia became a yoga instructor to help spread the benefits of yoga and living in the present moment to as many people as possible. She completed her Teacher Training program at The Yoga Company in San Ramon in 2009, and her OnBoard Fitness certification in 2011. Malia’s yoga class is a playful flow, mixing vinyasa, power, and ashtanga styles. She teaches at The Yoga Company, ClubSport Pleasanton and San Ramon, and at The Studio in Danville. She is the co-founder of SupAsana East Bay and has taught SUP yoga at Wanderlust Festival in Tahoe and Hawaii. Malia is a BOGA Yoga ambassador for BOGA Paddleboards and co-teaches BOGA yoga teacher trainings. She has represented SupAsana twice on KPIX mobile weather with Roberta Gonzales. She was also a featured presenter at Yoga Rocks The Park. She has had the honor of being a lululemon ambassador for three consecutive years and counting. Malia is the co-chair for Yoga Reaches Out Bay Area, a charity that raises money for children in need through yoga related events. She is the proud mother of a wonderful little girl, Kalea Lani.
Jessica wandered into an Ashtanga studio in 1999 and immediately fell in love with yoga. She spent the next several years exploring the various styles of in all of the amazing studios that San Francisco has to offer. In 2008 she found Rusty Wells and Bhakti Flow and completed her first teacher training with Rusty the following year. Her practice and teaching are heavily inspired by the Bhakti practice of love and devotion. It is through this practice that she looks to find gratitude in all of life’s teachers and strives to let go of things that no longer serve her, both on and off the mat.
Jessica’s most recent passion is BOGA SUP Yoga. She loves the playfulness of this practice and the unparalleled connection to nature and the water. She became a BOGA certified instructor in 2013 and currently teaches classes for SupAsana in Pleasanton, CA.
In 2004 Amy moved from Wisconsin to California, where life changing events shifted her focus to healing herself and facilitating healing in others through bodywork, yoga and exercise. In 2010, after practicing yoga for over 10 years she was motivated to teach. Having gained wisdom from the injuries and stories of clients and herself, she attended The Yoga Company’s 200-hour yoga teacher training and advanced studies programs. Most recently Amy took her love of yoga a bit further and got certified as a BOGA Yoga Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Yoga Instructor.
Amy is honored to motivate, educate, inspire, support, and empower others on the journey to being the BEST version of themselves possible. When she teaches she loves to create a space for freedom and safe self-exploration. By being upbeat, positive and energetic she maintains focus and balance by “All-Ways” honoring your inner teacher and respecting who and where you are. Amy teaches Mindful Flow Yoga, Cardio Yoga Flow level 2/3, and Barre Sculpt classes at The Studio in Danville and SUP Yoga at SupAsana East Bay in Pleasanton. She is a Yoga Ambassador for both Lululemon Athletica in Walnut Creek, CA and for Indo Board.
When Amy is not teaching you will find her living a very active, outdoor lifestyle with the loves of her life…her husband, their 2 boys and their dog. Besides practicing yoga she enjoy hiking, mountain biking, SUP and SUP yoga, rock climbing, snowboarding, slacklining, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and laughing often.
Bliss has been practicing and studying yoga for over twelve years and is a certified Iyengar yoga instructor. She is a graduate of the Yoga Movement Center’s 2008 Advanced Studies/Teacher Training program in Walnut Creek, CA and of the 2013 Boga Yoga Teacher Training – Bliss enjoys teaching classes (individual and group) as well as throughout the East Bay Area.
Her classes offer all who come to play, a retreat from their daily activities with the invitation to access the peace which naturally resides within. Through the syncing of asana, vinyasa, and pranyam, Bliss inspires and motivates students to challenge themselves, both physically and mentally, within their individual abilities – leaving them with the sense of ananda (bliss) that accompanies personal growth –in addition to feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Bliss also holds two degrees from UC Berkeley, one in Psychology, the background that drives her ongoing interests and explorations into to the mental and spiritual realms of yoga. She is also a Lululemon Ambassador and strives to regularly give back to society through various acts of seva (volunteer service)

Leslie explains yoga as movement, breath, and connection to all that surrounds her. “Yoga is more than something I do; it helps me to be who I am.”
Leslie has been practicing yoga since 2001. She trained at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, receiving her 200hr Yoga Teacher’s Training (YTT) there. She continues her studies at Kripalu working toward her 500-YTT there. Leslie has also trained with Yoga Kids International; Itsy Bitsy Yoga; and recently became BOGA Yoga certified. “Yoga on the water is amazing! It’s a way to connect with nature and myself in a new, fun, way. I’ve always loved water sports, making Yoga and Standup Paddle Board a great combination! Yoga on the water helps me to find a new level of meditation in motion.
Lisa took my first SUP Yoga class in 2012 and, to put it simply, she was hooked. Lover of all things yoga and fitness, this experience took her to a new level. The combination of yoga on the paddle board mixed with the elements of the outdoors is a natural symbiotic relationship.
